Ethical Principles and Publication Policy

1. Studies to be sent to the journal must be original, cannot be published elsewhere, or sent for publication.

2. First of all, a similarity report is taken about the submitted study, and it is examined according to the publication principles. The publication request for studies with a similarity rate of more than 20% will be rejected for this reason alone. Studies, which are first evaluated by the Editorial Board and determined not to be in accordance with the publication principles of the journal, are returned to the author for correction in line with the publication rules before being sent to the reviewers.

3. The studies that are first evaluated by the Editorial Board and comply with the publication principles of the journal are sent to two separate reviewers determined according to the double-blind reviewer method. According to the reports of the reviewers, the study can be accepted or rejected to the journal, or a major or minor correction can be required from the author within the framework of the reports. Regarding the outcome of the reports of the reviewers, the author is informed as soon as possible.

4. Introduced by the ULAKBİM decision dated February 25, 2020, “ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL should be obtained separately for all branches of science (including Social Sciences), clinical and experimental studies on humans and animals that require an ethics committee decision, this approval should be stated and documented in the article.” in terms of condition; The author must provide the relevant documents in the studies concerning this requirement and send them to the journal together with the studies to be uploaded to the system. The studies that do not meet this requirement will not be accepted to the journal.

5. The studies sent to the editor with a request for publication in the journal are not published without the positive decisions of two reviewers or a new text containing the corrections suggested by the reviewers.

6. No royalties are paid to the author for the studies published in the journal. The Dean of Akdeniz University Faculty of Law and/or the person and/or institution authorized by the Dean's Office shall have the printed and electronic publication rights of the studies accepted for publication. The Dean's Office has exclusive authority in this regard. The author is deemed to have accepted this issue by submitting a study with a request for publication in the journal.
